The mission of Junior Achievement (JA) is to inspire and prepare young people for success. At Junior Achievement of the Eastern Shore, we are inspiring a generation to dream big, make smart choices, and be financially capable. With the aid of volunteer role models like you, we are giving our area youth the hope to see a brighter future, and the skills to answer the demands of the 21st century economy with "I can."

Junior Achievement of the Eastern Shore is a 501c(3) that provides financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship education to K-12 students throughout public and private school classrooms in six counties across Maryland's Eastern Shore. With assistance from volunteer role models from the community, Junior Achievement delivers to young people in all communities the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their future, and make smart academic and economic choices. Through its hands-on, age-appropriate programs Junior Achievement inspires our youth to live within their means, prepare for the world of work, and understand the free enterprise system. In its 2017 fiscal year, Junior Achievement reached over 7,000 students across the Shore.
As we provide all program material to schools at no cost, Junior Achievement of the Eastern Shore is planning to raise $5,000 to help purchase material for our area students.
